SolarFast dyes are used to create permanent photograms, photograms, photographs, and shadow prints on paper and fabric. Simply apply SolarFast to the surface, expose it to sunglight and watch the colour magically appear! Place objects on the coated surface prior to exposure to create photograms - anything that casts a shadow will produce a design! To make SolarFast print from a photographic image, first create a film negative using Jacquard's online Negative Generator (http://www.jacquardsolarfast.com/ )
The provided film can be run through any inkject printer to produce a film negative. Alternatively, use the provided Film Marker to create hand-drawn design. You can make as many SolarFast prints as you like from the same film negative. Prints made on fabric are completely soft to the touch, washable and lightfast with no heat setting, chemical or steam fixing necessary! Perfect for ages 8 and up.
