Charbonnel Lamour Soft Etching Ground is an opaque liquid engraving ground that dries hard with a satin finish. It is a great alternative to solid engraving ground. Unlike solid ground, this liquid ground is incredibly durable. Since the ground does not chip off, it allows for a long etching time. Apply it cold to the plate with a very supple brush, or pour it directly onto the inclined plate.
