Graphic Chemical inks are specially formulated to achieve the best results on stone, as well as plate.

Roll-up Black (noir à monter) has a special function in lithography. It is mainly used during the preparation of the stone and not for printing. The ink must be stiff and acid resistant as the stone is etched with acid during preparation. The ink has a minimum of fatty substance and so dries very slowly. Roll Up Black is the most important ink in the lithographic workshop. It is also used as "body" for mixing ink or transfer ink.
