Jacquard Procion MX Dye Jet Black

Procion MX dyes are “cold water dyes” that do not require heat to set. These dyes are fiber reactive, which means it forms a strong covalent bond with cellulosic fibers, making it permanent and washfast.
Procion MX dyes can be used for techniques such as: shibori, ice dyeing, tub and low water immersion dyeing, printing, direct painting and “alternative” dye applications.
These dyes can be used on cotton, linen and other plant-based fabrics.
Procion MX dyes should be used in conjunction with a soda ash fixative, which can be used to pre-treat the fabric (for tie dying) or added directly to the dye bath.
