Stillman & Birn Gamma Series Wire-Bound Sketchbook - 10 x 7 in.

The Gamma Series is good for all dry media and light washes and is a 100lb (150gsm) Ivory paper with a vellum surface. Gamma Series books have are available in softcover, hard-bound or wire-bound and are bound in the United States.

History:
The Stillman & Birn sketchbook program recognizes the special relationship that artists have with sketchbooks and aspires to offer a premium product range that is worthy of that relationship.  The original company, Stillman & Birn Inc., was founded in 1958 in the SoHo district of Manhattan by Philip Birn (1911-2004).  Birn was a highly admired Viennese bookbinder who brought his Old World craftsmanship to North America and it is his nephew, along with a partner, who once more offer the Stillman & Birn quality in their books.
