PBk 11 - Natural Black Iron Oxide
One of the most versatile blacks by Williamsburg. When used straight, it is very much like a traditional Cassell Earth or Van Dyke Brown, but when white is added it cools down and becomes bluish - almost moonstone like. Dries with a soft matte surface.
Williamsburg offers the artist a wide palette of Neutral Colours, with 12 hues ranging from pigments based on natural, mined earths; traditional blacks painters rely on; and cool and warm casts of greys and blacks.
