Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyd - Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue - 37ml

Traditional oils, wonderful as they are, take a very long time to dry. That's why Winsor & Newton created Griffin Alkyds - they dry much more quickly and this means impasto and glazing techniques can be done in a single session.  Winsor & Newton's Griffins are a bit more fluid in consistency than traditional oils and they dry with a somewhat more reflective surface, too.

Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue is a warm mid-range yellow made from arylide pigments to resemble genuine Cadmium Yellow. It is a reddish yellow with good tinting properties. Arylide yellow is part of the Hansa Yellows which were first developed in the early 1900s in Germany by the Hoechst company.
